I'm so sick of the WEATHER CLOWNS |
|
These newscasters...they make me sick. You can almost hear the glee in their voices. They're so happy to have something BIG to talk about. We're losing our homes and you can hear the excitement in their voices. The more bad news, the better for them.

6. Oh yeah! She interrupted the girl giving the storm movement.... |
|
I couldn't believe it. Then she goes on and on about the flooding. Fucking idiot can't tell the difference between a report about the storm's movement and the destruction. Fox Bimbo.

Fox is one of the few channels that I can get that gives me the weather in the area where my home is located.

3. They are no different than most news reporters |
|
They love to sensationalize everything, no matter how destructive or catastrophic it is.

11. What I Think Is Stupid...... |
|
The news media screams for everyone to "Get Out Of Dodge" and "Certain Death" and then these newscasters are seen standing in the wind with their cameramen and mikes. No wonder some people are pissed that they left and now probably won't be able to return to their homes for quite some time!

12. Yeah, they make a total joke of it... |
|
by crying wolf and then sending their reporters out into the brunt of the storm, though CNN did admit that they did not send their reporters to east Texas/western Louisiana because they felt it was too dangerous. There's reports of 25 foot storm surge in Port Arthur.

13. They could be broadcasting "live" with a person dying next to them |
|
Edited on Sat Sep-13-08 08:20 AM by Jamastiene
and they'd primp their hair or flip it back while they flash a brilliant million dollar dental job smile. Instead of trying to help the dying person, they'll cut to footage from earlier where some water got on them and their hair got wet as if that was the worst thing in the world. They seem to have no compassion that all those "money shots" of homes burning, standing in water, blown away, missing, or trashed were people's homes and it means the people who lived in those homes are now homeless. I can't stand them either. I'd like to smack the smirk right off their faces.
I installed Desktop Weather and ForecastFox (Nothing to do with Faux. It is an addon for Firefox that gives you Accuweather.com reports) and I have Wunderground.com bookmarked. Between those three programs/web sites, I get all the data I need, when I need it, and then some without having to listen to those rabid blood thirsty selfish jackals.
