First, you have your greedy, manipulative, power hungry slime balls. They're in it for the money, the power and the pussy. (Tony Montana would identify with these assholes, big time). By hook or by crook, they want the reigns of power and everyone else be damned. They aren't bogged down by delusions of mythical fiat or divine authorization, or even a fully functional conscience. If they were in a science fiction movie, they would be cast in the role of the flesh eating Alien Lizard Overlords.
By the size of their balls, they are ready to take charge.
It's the way they play the game that gives them their props. The "right" pedigree, education and connections. They were born to the Patrician classes, or were ruthless and savvy enough to get a promotion.
When they play Monopoly, they use real buildings.
These are the fuckers who end up sipping Pina Coladas in Club Fed after having their asses handed to them, by way of a federal grand jury probe for corruption.
They are either crooks or crook enablers... Simple as that
Next, you have your sanctimonious, hypocritical, true believers. They may be in it for the money, (Gold purity rings and diamond encrusted Bibles do not grow on trees, you know) but money is not their main objective. They are misogynistic, do-as-I-say-and-not-as-I-do control freaks.
God has given them a hallowed duty; and they are ready to kill, maim and destroy any heathen who rejects the love of the Almighty and his plan for this great God-fearing nation, with a wrath so powerful it would make dogs and cats sleep together.
HALLELUJAH!
They aren't to the manor born, but they do know how they get the money whores at the top of the food chain to give them a seat at the table.
What they bring are the teeming, slobbering masses of "values voters", under a banner of God, Guns, Gays and Gametes, who think that they are the last line of defense against the unholy incarnation of Satan (Insert echo here), who are basically people that they wouldn't want within ten feet of their Mega-church. The list is much too long to mention, of course.
Life for the unborn? Of course. Then post partum and all bets are off, with the death penalty becoming God's gift to a law abiding nation.
These are people who are pissed off that someone, somewhere and somehow is having a good time. And we can't have that in this country. It's not written in the Bible; wailing and gnashing of teeth: Yes! But, a good time? That's sinful.
These are people who end up dead with a pork chop lodged in their aorta, or sent to the pokey because they were caught trying to give a wet willie and a reach around to a small boy... while snorting meth off of his ass.
These breed-happy, fetus worshipers are the last people that you would want anywhere near a school board, a court bench, or your own children.
Lastly, you have the base, the rank and file, the hoi polloi, the salt of the Earth and the common man (Deh wimmens are in the kitchen).
I call these people, the idiots.
They are the shock troops, poised to strike at the beck and call of their Bible-thumping masters. Sheep who wouldn't know their asses from a hole in the ground even if it were shown to them on a diagram. They are too busy to give a fuck that the world is coming down around their heads, because their heads are safely and securely stuffed up their own asses.
Their world view has been nicely compartmentalized into easily digestible, mouth-sized chunks, ready for consumption anytime they are in danger of having an original thought.
They have no idea that they always vote against their own self-interests, to the benefit of the fetus junkies and the alien lizards, and they don't care. To conceive of this would waste too many precious neurons that are slated to be sacrificed on the altar of beer.
As long as they get to keep their guns, gas guzzlers and Lee Greenwood -- Hell, all is right with the world!
Fox News is their bread and their staff of life and Rush Limbaugh is their clarion call.
Most of the time, they are decent people. Unfortunately, they don't understand that they provide the grist for the mill of indecency. Illegal wars, police state tactics, the massive upward redistribution of wealth, and just about every anti-progressive trait that we have in this country exists because these misguided people don't understand what they are the support base.
They are paralyzed by the fear that their masters have instilled in them, driven like livestock to create the impetus for Overlord control. Like a wave of incredulous backwardness, they drive the body politic straight into the emergency room. Unfortunately, they are half of the electorate.
Despite their penchant for mind-boggling cluelessness, these are the people who stand the most to gain if they are willing to drop their blinders and move away from the Lizards and Fetus fiends.
I may be rough on them, but I can be fair.
In recent months, a lot of them have smartened up and proceeded to do the right thing, by moving OUT of the Republican sphere of influence. There are a lot of them who have gone to stepping.
These people the people who should give us hope for a better tomorrow.
