I've been thinking about images the day after Obama wins the presidency...how's this for a commercial or at least a vision we can collectively imagine.....

early am on the day after the election...people waking up to find Obama is president..all across America..sleepy eyes...hearing the news. smiles, relief, laughter..music. starts...Martha and the Vandellas."Dancin in the Streets"...shots of people dancin from New York to Motor City to Los Angeles and everywhere in between...getting their Republican neighbors to join them dancin in the streets...children..all shapes sizes and colors....satellite shot of America dancing..hip hoppers, fox trotting old people, etc...shot of the world Dancin ......smiling, cooperating...

its possible....more importantly, words sometimes don't plant the vision as well as an image..I think that some images which need to be projected now from the Obama campaign should be of our collective hopes and dreams..realized... a more caring and productive nation...images of the united states and our relationship with the world the way we would like it to be...
