"ALASKA HAS THE HIGHEST RATE OF RAPE IN THE USA FOR ANY STATE."

-snip-

Subject: Palin and Stiff-arming Rape Victims

So there is no confusion -- Sarah Palin was Mayor of Wasilla when rape victims were billed for the rape kits used by the police department.

The STATE of Alaska had to step in and pass state legislation to stop the practice of cities/police depts. from billing rape victims -- and the city of Wasilla billing rape victims was a prime reason the Alaska State Legislature, and the then-Democratic Governor Tony Knowles, took action to make it illegal to bill rape victims in Alaska.

And do not forget the fact that ALASKA HAS THE HIGHEST RATE OF RAPE IN THE USA FOR ANY STATE.

And Sarah Palin presided over the town of Wasilla, Alaska at the time the Wasilla police were billing rape victims.

Mayor Sarah Palin knew. Sarah Palin knew and did nothing.

The State of Alaska lawmakers had to step-in and take action to stop the City of Wasilla and other backward Alaskan cities from their despicable practice of billing the rape victims.

1. Was it the victims they were billing or
the insurance companies?

3. The victims would still pay a percentage or most of it if their deductible
hadn't been met. Do burglary victims get billed for the investigation?

4. IT is part and parcel of the Reich wings hate of women. They blame the victims of rape and this is
just another example of what happens when the radical religious nutz take over our government

5. Does it make a difference? The message is the same.
If I'd just been raped, there's nothing I'd like to do more than produce my insurance card and fill out ten pages' worth of forms.
