FReepers are OUTRAGED over Matt Damon's remarks!
Edited on Sat Sep-13-08 11:54 AM by galaxy21
Matt Damon's recent remarks sent the freepers into a tizzy....you'll regret the day you crossed the freepers Jason Bourne!

"Ben and Matt are not bankable stars. Matt has bombed except for Ocean's. Better think about it GOP goes to movies"

"Damon made his money in those Bourne movies, which generally have Middle America (read: a lot of Republican) audiences. He’s playing with fire here."

"He hasnt been making much of anything these days. A box office disaster." (Ummm...isn't Damon widely regarded as one of the most popular inverstments for studios?)

" Matt Damon is afraid of a girl. Matt Damon is afraid of a girl (sing song voice). What a pissy pants he is."

"I sat there for a good long while...trying to think of a really bad, bad Disney movie....and even went to the listings on the internet. After a couple of minutes...I came to determine that there really aren’t any terrible or awful Disney movies. The majority cleared a profit...few ever lost money...as far as I know."

"Actors are people who master deception. They try to pretend they are someone they are not. Kind of like a prostitute. So Matt Damon pretends to be intelligent on politics. Just like a hooker... its all an act... " (Um...ronald reagan? Isn't he a hero to you people?)

"I’d like to see her with Putin, Barrack would smile and sing cum ba yah..while Putin launched nukes, Palin would smile and let him know that she is not afraid of him, nukes, we’ve got nukes..lets rock!!!" (yay! Nuclear holocaust!)

"Putin would much rather by facing Obambi then Sarah in a showdown I suspect." ( no doubt, the former KGB man is scared shitless of facing down a hockey mom!)

"Geeez, If Obama picked Cameron Diaz or Angelina Jolie as a running mate would he still think they were inexperienced? Another Hollywood Celebrity Putz." (Yes, he propbably would think it was ridiculous...as would everyone else, which is why we'd never do it)

"Damon’s movie career joins no see list with: Clooney, Penn, Robbins, Sarandon, Afflect, etc..." (Alas, soon the only movies freeprs will be able to watch are those starring Chuck Norris and Stephen Baldwin)

I hope this moran enjoys watching the same movies over and over again.

From IMDB:

Last "film" from Norris:

The Cutter (2005) .... John Shepherd

Last "film" from S. Baldwin (the airplane scenes were awesome, but the movie sucked rocks otherwise):

The Flyboys (2008) .... Silvio Esposito

By comparison, Matt Damon:

Untitled Jason Bourne Project (2010) (announced) .... Jason Bourne
The Human Factor (2009) (pre-production) .... Francois Pienaar
Green Zone (2009) (post-production) .... Roy Miller
The Informant (2009) (post-production) .... Mark Whitacre
Margaret (2009) (completed) .... Mr. Aaron
Guerrilla (2008)

And I, for one, would be more than willing to comfort him.:)

14. He must have done something right, then. Good job, Matt.

I don't know why they are slamming actors as some of their most beloved politicians were actors.

He has also made tons of great movies and is considered a great actor. I also don't think he "pretends" to be intelligent. He did get into Harvard somehow.

Oh, wait. I'm using Earth logic. Silly me. :silly:

17. Yep, Damon is a looser...a hugh looser:
8/6/07:
Matt Damon: Hollywood's Best Investment
Forbes Says Actor Has Highest Gross Income Return

"Matt Damon is Hollywood's best investment, says Forbes.com.

For every dollar he was paid for his last three roles, Damon brought in $29 of gross income, the site calculated. That put the 36-year-old "Bourne" star atop a Forbes list of 22 film heavyweights, ranked by the same financial formula..."

http://74.125.95.104/search?q=cache:OUUxvdBRoNYJ:www.showbuzz.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/08/06/movies/main3139518.shtml%3Fsource%3DRSSattr%3DEntertainment_3139518+actor%27s+highest+incomes&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=6&gl=us

Ah, but that was last year. Could the freeps be correct? Has Damon's star fallen from grace? Let's check .......................................................................................................................................................................

Um, no.

7/22/08:
"...Damon posted his best return for his work on Ocean's Thirteen, $20.80 for every dollar he made. (He fell to sixth from the top spot last year because he got a salary bump for the third installment of the Bourne films."

http://www.forbes.com/media/2008/07/22/star-salary-roi-biz-media-cz_dp_ph_0722payback.html

My research shows that in 2008, Freepers continue to believe that they can say anything, and it becomes fact.

Yes, My Friends, Republics are still idiots.

They don't ever go out to the movies. They would rather
stay in their rat hole in Mommy's basement.
