This was posted on another discussion board, so I did a cut and paste. Apparently, this is a fox anchor talking about the mayor of Galveston, regarding Ike. I just cannot understand why this is tolerated, can our party please get is leaders together and take a stand on this? How many more liberals, and democrats have to be murdered before hate speech, even veiled hate speech such as this, is addressed? Yes, I used the word murdered, I am speaking to the Arkansas situation and the church shooting.

I have not yet watched the Moyers special on hate speech directed at liberals, but I intend to.

3. Some asshole on my veterans' board quoted Rush Limbaugh on 9/11 saying

that "Bush has kept this country safe from two enemies -- Al Qaeda and the Democrats."

I called him on it and said, "Don't you think some of the people killed on 9/11 were Democrats? I guess it was too much to think you would be human on a day like this, instead of the right wing robot you have become."

What the fuck is wrong with people? Man, I was pissed.
