Don't Care For Electoral-vote.com projection
Electoral-vote.com has McCain leading Obama 270-268. However, they show New Mexico going to McCain on the basis of the last Rasmussen poll with M leading 49-47. If this holds, we are in trouble. However, the previous poll, by CNN/Time, had Obama leading sustantially, by 53 to 40. Most NM polls in the last few months had Obama leading, by a small margin. It is a state that we may have to do some work.

1. New Mexico, thanks to Gov Richardson, has paper ballots, so their choice should be more accurate

this time.

Last time they voted for Kerry in large majorities but lots of ballots were "spoiled" in Democratic counties.

So odd that election machine malfunctions and other voting anomalies overwhelmingly favored Republicans.

3. I Have No Concerns About New Mexico . . .

None. Richardson and the state apparatus will not be a Florida 2000-style impediment to Obama, Obama has made huge gains among Hispanics, among whom McClown has zero appeal despite some pandering, and the 2004 result was miniscule in terms of the percentage of the overall vote.

ScottyRazz's numbers are designed to force a narrative - - they're not to be taken seriously.

5. They also show WA as "barely Dem" which is ludicrous.
