pedigree adult nutrition small crunchy bites. my dog was fed once yesterday with it and doesnt appear sick.
would you take it back?

and the grocery manager had no info on any recall. Told him the product in question was mfg in a plant in PA and when it was made and he thought it unlikely that their stuff would be here but he would check with the distributor tomorrow. Went over and bought a new bag anyway. Don't want a vet bill - my personal version of This Old House just had to have a plumbing re-do.

Dogs and cats need red meat, fish or fish oil, bones and organs, a few eggs once in a while. Raw, cooked, ground, or whole. (If you cook the bones, grind them up. If you won't feed bones, grind up dried egg shells). It's not rocket science. It's not more expensive if you buy in bulk.
Dog food companies don't give a rat's azz about your pet, just their bottom line.
I feed my pets like my great-grandparents fed their pets on the farm 60 years ago, before they even heard of processed food.
