Gov. Goodhair said, " the Fed Gov should treat Galveston at
least as good as they did Louisiana in Katrina." Is this idiot for real? I cannot believe he just said that. Was he in the United States during Katrina? Did he not see the Federal Government abandon American citizens hit by Katrina?

He makes my blood boil. Then he has the nerve to basically campaign while speaking!

5. By August 2006 the feds spent $122 billion in NOLA.
per the Washington Post - but Wiki says Katrina only caused $90 billion in damage for everyplace. One wonders why all those folks are STILL living in trailers.

Anyways, my guess is that Perry is hoping for the feds to drop $122 Billion into Ricky's hands.

6. Treat Galveston at least as well as New Orleans? Well, that should be easy.
Just totally abandon Galveston. That will exceed the "kindness" given to people in New Orleans, who were corralled there at gun point and not allowed to leave.

9. Does that mean they won't get bottled water to Galveston until 5 days later like New Orleans? nt
