These days the reality of and pragmatic concerns over OUR common and shared struggles/issues are SMOTHERED by calculated, personally-emotive manipulations by a profiteering lot of heartless elites!!! As a result, people can no longer distinguish the greed associated with capitalistic economics/endeavors from a governance ruled by the ideals of democracy. Capitalism has thwarted democracy via intentional manipulation of perception (Rumsfeld called it a "war of ideas", a war all neocons believe in,...a war to consolidate power with the 'privileged' who are assumed more prescient than all others).
The right-wing noise machine learned how to destroy social reason and common sense by personalizing EVERY DAMN THING! The right-wing's ploy is NO DIFFERENT from the "hate radio" associated with ethnic cleansing in Rwanda: same concepts and processes are being utilized to destroy all powers (of the people) associated with democracy while simultaneously EMPOWERING all run a muck antagonists to the ideals of democracy. The antagonists are the POWER--->MONGERS,...as always!
It's incredibly disheartening to watch the processes and ploys of the most ANTI-DEMOCRACY enemies work so well in a nation taught to embrace democratic ideals.
Nowadays, I wonder whether or not ours is becoming the most "pacified" population on earth, given the circumstances. Our people are so busy fighting to survive in their own nation with scant hope of advancing while being simultaneously convinced they are "blessed" or "privileged" or whatever other fictitious label attached to being an "American citizen" that, they could be compared to a pre-Nazi people. Hell, ours could be compared to the absolute controlling aspects of communist Russia, at this point. After all, we are ALL subject to the same "big brother" impositions of communist Russia (albeit, secretly rather than bellicose), being subject to suspension of habeas corpus AT WILL of the executive. Activities related to CONTROL OVER PEOPLE is certainly anti-democracy.
Ideally, in a democracy, "politics" is engaging reason with compassion for all people to solve problems in response to a body of people's struggles. These days, "politics" engages emotions of the body of people in order to serve an elite by intentionally MANIPULATING PERCEPTIONS, which is a form of oppression EVERY DEMOCRACY REJECTS.
What I am trying to say is, our people are being RAPED of democracy. Those guilty of such RAPE will suffer consequences when we do the following: PUBLICLY FILE OUR COMPLAINT, DEMAND CHARGES BE PURSUED, BE PERSISTENT IN PROSECUTION OF THEIR RAPE IN THE PUBLIC ARENA (as these rapists have mastered), and, simply,...wear them down because they have always succeeded by wearing others down.
Frankly, we just have to WEAR THEM DOWN. The name of every game is "wearing them down".
I have a suggestion: let's WEAR THEM DOWN by exposing their back-door supporters, IMMEDIATELY! When "they" come out with an attack ad or spread an internet lie,...let's track them down AND EXPOSE THEM!!! LET US CHARGE THEM WITH RAPE!!! They RAPE democracy by spreading lies and misinformation for one purpose: to oppress and control and profit off their power.
