A point of emphasis for everyone
This cycle, it is going to be extremely important, assuming we for win the Presidential election, for us to have a majority in the Senate to help Obama confirm his appointments to fill out his administration to start cleaning up this godawful mess. So please, if you have a Senate seat up this time around, don't neglect donating/campaigning/educating your neighbors.

1. good point, heartily agreed; but since McCain's ahead in the polls, not to mention
likely levels of election fraud, i hope i'm not the only one wondering why assume the presidency's locked up?

2. I'm not assuming that at all.
I'm pretty apprehensive, in fact. Just trying to let people know to not ignore our down-ticket races...the Senate ones are very important.

4. Obama is ahead in Ohio now and McCain's negatives are rising....
Obama 49% - 44% McLiar

And with all this Wall St shit going on... McCain, who admits he knows NOTHING about
Wall St or economics... well, it doesn't look good for McLiar right about now! ;)

"McCain said his staff hates it when he discusses his shortcomings on economics, even though he has read widely and studied the subject. "I've never been involved in Wall Street, I've never been involved in the financial stuff, the financial workings of the country, so I'd like to have somebody intimately familiar with it," he said of a potential vice president.

7. done - gave $200 to Jeff Merkley who is running against Gordon Smith
plus have been tabling for him - Oregon is pretty safe for Obama so it seems like the best way to help.
