Mind boggling!!

Just listened to an interview on Channel 13 Houston with mental midget Chad Simpson. He is trapped on the 4th floor of the badly damaged Flagship Hotel Galveston. He is whining about being confined and wanting to go home - he has a very whiny voice. When questioned further by the 'anchor' it emerges that Chad and his buddies, purposely checked into the hotel to 'experience' the hurricane - they live in mid-town Houston.

When asked "Why would you do that?". The reply was "Well, why not? We thought if Anderson Cooper can do it, why not us?"

Mr Simpson seems to regret his decision and now wants help to get out!!

People see things like that, Anderson by a palm tree, nothing *too* dangerous, you know, and the public thinks that these storms are not "that dangerous".

7. What about that circus sideshow with Geraldo on Friday night?

Seriously - he made his entire show about him standing out on the seawall facing the hurricane. He just stood there and took if for hours on end, sometimes crawling around - sometimes hugging a palm tree tenderly.

Fox made it into a damned "Ultimate Survival" newscast instead of anything of substance (I know, Fox has no substance, but still - this is a hurricane).
