Barack Obama is running against John McCain, not Sarah Palin. What does it mean when a running mate sparks more interest than the candidate? That the candidate is lackluster and nothing to be excited about. In Obama, we have a candidate who we can all genuinely be excited about, who can bring about real change

Obama needs to rise up out of the mud where Sarah Palin and John McCain would like to drag him and shine. When asked about Palin, he should say: “She and I each bring something historic to our respective tickets. That's all I'm going to say about her because she is not the one I am running against. I'm running against John McCain, who is 90 percent George W. Bush, and the 10 percent of him that isn't is being eclipsed by his running mate. Now, what does that say about him?”

Hammer away at the issues, Sen. Obama. Hammer away at John McCain and soon, instead of being someone no one had ever heard of, Sarah Palin will become someone we never have to hear about again.
