Does the economy officially implode today? |

or does the Fed have another rabbit to pull out of the hat? This is horrible timing for the repubs, I'm sure they wanted to wait until President Obama was installed before this happened.

that Bush doesn't even know where Wall Street is....they were fine with that when everything was going peachy keen. Now they want the taxpayers to throw them a life raft "for our own good", yeah right.

and AIG is asking for $40 billion from the government to stave off bankruptcy. The republicans are hoping the voters won't figure out what is happening until after the election.

I suppose that might ease the fears of the folks at the top, but it will only make the rabble whose paychecks are being devalued that much more pissed.
