Why do respectable sites like TheNation.com and ThomHartmann.com..... |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-15-08 10:21 AM by marmar
.... allow those disgusting Newsmax ads? (The current one has a big "Is Obama Finished?" headline with a teeny-tiny newsmax.com link in the bottom left corner)

2. It's Google Advertising, if they want to get rid of it, they have to go in and filter out |
|
All the Newsmax ads. Apparently no one knows how to do that or cares to do it.

Ads like this aren't a direct buy. Most site contract such ads out to a third party who then places your ad on "200 political minded websites".
Besides, if you listen to Hartmann you know he's not afraid to let the right have their say. Unlike many people here who think it's best to ignore what the right says Thom seems confident that they'll hang themselves with their own words if they're given enough rope.

4. The dead-tree edition of The Nation... |

...prints anything, and always has -- including full-page ads for Fox News. It's their policy.
