NY Gov Paterson oulining what NY will be doing to help both individuals and companies
Part of this is to adjust some NY insurance reserves regulations to make 20 billion of AIG's own assets in required reserves available short term to AIG to give them *some* liquidity - a sort of bridge loan.

He also says the state will work to their greatest extent possible to help the displaced workers get access quickly to all their benefits.

Some New Jersey commissioners were there with Paterson showing some solidarity.
