I think that's the same guy, as I remember his first name was Wayne. He was on the internet yesterday who called out the Governor for all the secrecy and limited access to the Bolivar area.
It's cool to see he got the access he was so elequently demanding. Good for him.

9. Heard from my former co-worker's Mom |

Turns out that FCW didn't go to Galveston after all - her dad's surgery had been canceled when it looked like Ike was going to hit Texas. FCW's Mom and Dad evacuated to Houston. Wherever they were, they had electricity and phone service. She called my office's number because she couldn't remember her daughter's new one (she just left our office two weeks ago).
Still haven't heard from my college friend yet.
