Is anyone beside me just a little bit troubled... |
|
...by Keith and Rachel quoting KKKarl about McCain's lying ads? I think it gives the jackass too much legitimacy.

I think it's great, actually. Everyone knows Rove is the nastiest, sleaziest man on earth, and even he thinks McCain is over the line. What does that tell you?

Karl Rove is responsible for everything from today's lottery number to continental drift. If it happens, and it's bad, Rove's behind it. He's Christof and Keyser Soze rolled into one.

7. I meant legitimacy from the sheeple's point of view... |
|
...I can just hear O'Lielly spouting about how the Dems are taking talking points from that asshole. Rove should be totally neutralized (meaning ignored).

these comments came right after word had spread that Rove was involvd With McCain's campaing. I think this is a way to divert attention, and make it look like he's not involved.

12. I'm much more troubled about why Rove would say that in the first place. |
|
Obviously he's not the honest, above board type. What is the hidden agenda there? It would be fabulous if it was just about "doing the right thing" but THERE'S NO WAY with this guy. He couldn't care less about playing dirty. Its like the puppeteer telling the puppet "no, no, bad little boy". Maybe he's trying to scare McCain into falling more in lockstep. Rove picked Palin. McCain wanted Lieberman. Maybe he doesn't like McCain thinking independently and he's wielding a little reminder that if he wants to, he can mess McCain up in a heartbeat. I honestly don't think he would get rid of McCain because he DEFINITELY doesn't want to try to do his dirty work with Obama in office . . . but still, maybe a little rap on the knuckles for McCain. My way or the highway.

14. It does, but it also shows Republicans "not in lock-step" |

They are always so into their talking points - it's news when they aren't all on the same page.
