Rebutting the "Fundamentals" spin. Did we miss an opportunity ?

I am not a concern troll, I think Sen. Obama is brilliant and doing a fantastic job !!!! I am just pointing out a line of attack I would like to hear.

First and foremost, the American Worker is not a "Fundamental" of the economy. The American worker is the Foundation of the economy. Elevate the common worker above and beyond anything that his "fundamental" spin can ever reach. Point out that he has no idea what he is trying to talk about and say that he understands the economy about as well as Palin understands the Bush Doctrine.

Second, make it personal. Talk directly to the crowd/camera and ask, If you are a fundamental of our economy how are you doing right now? Are you doing well? How many of you can't save for your children's collage education? How many of you can't afford descent health care? How many of you have had your wages shrink while the cost of food and gasoline have gone up? If John McCain thinks you are doing fine then won't he continue to ignore your needs the way George W. Bush has for the last eight years?

Third (and last since this is already longer than I expected) Show some outrage. Don't just laugh at him and try to dismiss him. This guy could be our next President. Use the word "ENOUGH" or come up with another one liner that can stick and be a rallying cry for everyone who wants to win a bar room debate on the economy with a McCain supporter. Most Americans are outraged about the state of our economy. We will follow a leader who shows the same outrage that we feel. Make damn sure that leader is Barack Obama and not John McCain.
