I saw her berate and fire a lowly Harley Hotel coffee shop waitress at midnight in Lexington Kentucky beyond anything you can even dream up - why? because there was a single teeny spot of ketchup on the waitress' otherwise perfectly crisp uniform just after a 2 hour late night slam with all the local square dancers. I'm telling you, the verbage the spewed out of Leona's mouth was beyond any filth and evil you can imagine. I have no idea why she decided to grace lil' ol' Lexington with her presence.

In NYC I saw her on two different occasions. One was in the hotel - evil stinking rotted out soul - she kicked an elderly man, who I think was janitorial, right in the butt while he was bending over so hard he hit his head on the wall and was knocked out. She stood there screaming at his unconscious body until some man steered her off. The other was in the hall of a restaurant and she smacked a woman who was with her in the face and just walked away.

The last was in Cincinnati at a Hospitality Motor Inn she had just bought and turned into a Harley. She was stomping through the halls barking at the scurrying bunch behind her and slamming every door she could find.


I used to travel a lot for work and the company had an exchange agreement with Helmsley. We provided our product heavily discounted and she provided so many nights a year ( a lot of them ) at her hotels for our business travel needs.
