Both seemed to cut their thuglike careers in the mayor's office.

Both seemed to have problems firing cops.

Kwame's city is paying $9.5 million for that. Anybody think there isn't another big payday on the horizon, this time in Alaska?

Both have problems with electronic communications. Palin with e-mails, Kwame with text messages.

Both left their cities deeply in debt. In fairness to Kwame, he didn't get much of a crack at all those earmarks. Sarah did.

Now, we learn that the Palin administration looks like a Wasilla High yearbook. Kilpatrick's team of bodyguards (EPU or Executive Protection Unit) looks a lot like the Mayor's old Cass Tech High football teammates.

Coincidence?

Two "my way or the highway" dictators.

Predictions: Kwame's days in court ain't over. Sarah's will be coming soon.

1. How did the prosecution prove he was a mayor?
