Freeper :Palin will end the war on men
this is some weird stuff but maybe it's true of many men who are supporting McCain after he picked her for VP.

<What is happening is that men are under constant attack in America; and all men fall short of the idea- thus our leaders ultimately fail and rarely succeed. If they do succeed, the media with its anti-male/conservative/tradition aims to destroy our champion.

What we have in Sara Palin is a champion for our rights; for mens rights. A woman who is inoculated from the media and not subject to the failings of men.

The failings of men are embraced by the media; harmonized in rap music; twisted in San Fran and NY; amplified in all things socialist.

And when a conservative man fails it is trumpeted as hypocrisy of the highest sort- just because as conservatives we try!!!

And at this time, as our heroes seem less and few; a woman with 2 boys and a husband, who loves her family, rises up to help. To unite the family and stop the war on men.

She represents the bridge that unites the culture wars foes. She stops the endless bickering that women like Hillary only conflagrates. She brings back our home and dismisses this hatred that consumed Europe.>

20. That's it exactly.
And don't forget her embrace of "headship" -- that lovely Xtianist belief that women are subservient to their menfolk and have only the appearance of authority, which is subject to the dominion of the men.

71. She can believe that utter horsetripe bullshit if she
wants and she has the right to practice it in her own life if she wants. But she sure as fuck ain't gonna shove it down my throat and she sure as shit ain't gonna force everyone else to go along with it, either. I'd love to see her try to do so.

Alaska is such an independent-thinking, individualist state. How in the holy hell did this freak ever get into the governorship?

117. I agree with you.
But I think that if she (and her dominionist masters) ever get the amount of power they seek, we're quickly going to end up with a theofascist state in which dissent will be severely punished.

Our best (and maybe only) hope is to cut the theocrats off at the knees NOW.

Freeper seems to have missed the three daughters.

Rather telling, eh?

And might I say that, as a man, I enjoy a woman with a mind of her own. (Makes the conquest all the more enjoyable.)

Seriously, though, did this guy just get turned down one two many times or something? Suck it up, dude. Maybe if you weren't bitching about what awful, awful meanies them girls are, you'd have better luck.

75. Yeah, I wondered that too
Why haven't they already been married?

Does the father of the baby even want to be married?

One thing I noticed in the aftermath of the pregnant-out-of-wedlock daughter was that her family said "She will be marrying the father of her baby" and not "They will be getting married".

To me, there's a HUGE difference. Yeah, she can marry him...but will he marry her? And I don't mean just being there for the ceremony. Are they being married because they truly love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives together in the state of Holy Matrimony?

Or are they being united to avoid embarrassing the Palin family further with a bastard? Which, in itself is sort of weird, because if, as they believe, life begins at conception, the kid is already stained, but whatever. I guess they can flip and flop the rules around however it suits them, like diehard Bible thumpers are known to do...

In any case, I'm wondering....how hard are they going to have to "convince" the young man that he'll be dreadfully happy in the matrimonial state? And what will it take to convince him? Money? The point of a gun? Threats against his family and/or friends?

I firmly believe that Sarah Palin (and her minions) are fully capable of operating at that level...

And Forrest Gump seems to be his favorite flick.

Freeper's profile:

"I grew up in Porterstown, Maryland. I am aAsian-conservativen-I've been here awhile. If you don't like me I don't care, I do what is right- so you must be wrong.

My father is from the Hunan province of China. I lived there for over 2 years farming berries for international markets. It is very beautiful....

I was born a poor Asian child. I developed a bridge to hold glasses on people's noses and made millions.... I donated most of my money to prevent cat juggling in Mexico... my dog sh*thead left me but fortunately my family found me on the street and we moved back to the south to my childhood home. I then invested in a shrimp boat company... ran across the united states played pingpong against the chinese olympic team and have a legless friend I like to call lieutenant dan."

All the European men "were beaten into submission" by horrible Hillary type feminists. Hence, the emasculated weakened males allowed their countries to be taken over by "masculine" cultures. Palin represents the kind of woman who empowers her guy, and all men to be strong, heros, knights in shining armor.

38. O lordy, I just found this gem:
Why we Love Sarah. Her Obvious Secrets Revealed.

Posted on Mon Sep 15 20:50:27 2008 by Jessica Mae

While many things in America have changed, some things will always remain the same; Sarah's the change America needs, because she's the America that will never change.

She's the lump in your throat, and the thumping of your heart when you're staring up at old glory flowing gently in the wind while the band echoes The Star Spangled Banner.

She's like coming home from school and being greeted with the warm smell of apple pie, a sweet motherly smile, and a loving embrace.

She's like sitting five rows up at a Red's game, eating cracker jacks and a hot dog, and waiting for a homerun.

She's like swinging on the front porch with your little brother, sharing an ice-cold coca cola on a hot summer's day.

She's like coming in from sleigh riding with your friends on a cold, snowy day and wrapping your frostbit fingers around a cup of hot cocoa.

She's the free spirit that flies o'er the beautiful, for spacious skies. She's the amber waves of grain. She's the purple mountains majesty, above the fruited plain.

She's honesty, simplicity, and purity. She's Freedom. She's America.

It's the whole 1950's Pleasantville la la land dream they want to live in, which never existed. It's like wanting to go back to the days when you believed in Santa Claus. I guess the more overpopulated and frightening the world becomes, the more they cling to some shabby facsimile like Palin. Blech.

85. My own list

She's the lump in your throat, and the grinding in your guts when you're staring at the cold porcelain of a dirty toilet after sloshing down ten different mixed drinks, three helpings of pickled eggs, and a whole jar full of pig's feet at the local VFW.

She's like coming home from school and being greeted with the warm smell of dogshit and realizing your Great Dane has diarrhea again from eating all your skanky slippers.

She's like sitting five rows up at a Red Sox game for 80 years, eating cracker jacks and a hot dog, and waiting for a World Series win.

She's like swinging on the front porch with your little brother, sharing sex secrets about the rubber blow up doll you're both dating.

She's like coming in from sleigh riding with your friends on a cold, snowy day and dunking your frostbitten asscheeks in your mom's hot chicken soup simmering on the stove.

She's the turkey vulture that flies o'er the beautiful, for spacious skies. She's the locusts infesting the amber waves of grain. She's the fake rubber sasquatch two fools in Jesusland cooked up to fool America.

She's lying, sleazy, and has a screechy, nails on chalkboard voice. She's freedom from sanity. She's America during the Jurassic period.

from http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/politics/national/stories/DN-palin_14pol.ART.State.Edition1.26e9372.html an article in the Dallas Morning News

In Alaska, Sarah Palin hired friends, hit critics hard
12:00 AM CDT on Sunday, September 14, 2008

WASILLA, Alaska – Gov. Sarah Palin lives by the maxim that all politics is local, not to mention personal.

According to public records and interviews with 60 Republican and Democratic legislators and local officials, Sarah Palin has blurred the line between government and personal grievance. 'She is bright and has unfailing political instincts,' said Steve Haycox, a University of Alaska professor. 'But her governing style raises a lot of hard questions.'
So when there was a vacancy at the state Agriculture Department, she appointed a high school classmate, Franci Havemeister, to the $95,000-a-year directorship. A former real estate agent, Ms. Havemeister cited her childhood love of cows as a qualification for running the roughly $2 million agency.

Ms. Havemeister was one of at least five high school classmates Ms. Palin hired, often at salaries far exceeding their private sector wages.

Ms. Palin walks the national stage as a small-town foe of "good old boys" politics and a champion for ethics reform. And as the Republican vice presidential nominee, she points to her management experience while mocking her Democratic rivals, Sens. Barack Obama and Joe Biden, as speechmakers who never have run anything.

An examination of her swift rise and record as mayor of Wasilla and then governor finds that her visceral style and penchant for attacking critics – she sometimes calls local opponents "haters" – often contrasts with her public image.

Throughout her career, she has pursued vendettas, fired officials who crossed her and sometimes blurred the line between government and personal grievance, according to a review of public records and interviews with 60 Republican and Democratic legislators and local officials.

Interviews show that Ms. Palin runs an administration that puts a premium on loyalty and secrecy. The governor and her top officials sometimes use personal e-mail accounts for state business; dozens of e-mail messages obtained by The New York Times show that her staff members studied whether that could allow them to circumvent subpoenas seeking public records.
