My 401K lost more this year than I can ever remember paying in taxes. |
|
I'd gladly be paying more taxes to have an economy run by someone who's not a supply-side lunatic Republican. Seems like I'd come out ahead. Just sayin'.

I got hit pretty hard yesterday as well, so did most of the people I know who have investments. We just have to sit it out and wait for the market to recover, which it eventually will.
I think a change of leadership in this country will be the best thing to ensure that happens.
Higher taxes in return for a responsible, transparent government that works for the people instead of corporations and the select few wealthy? Yeah, I'll take it.

2. That's why I pulled out all the money in my 401K |

and put it into my savings account. I lost over $5,000 in the past year. At least, I know it is safe in savings for the time being until the market settles down.
