Just what was needed: Obama's "September 15, 2008" ad
This is a really powerful ad; the best Obama ad I've seen. I hope like hell that they produce many more in this vein. It outlines what happened yesterday in stark terms and hits McCain hard for his comment that the economy is essentially sound.

1. Yes...It Should Get A Lot Of Attention
When I was in college we studied election ads for how words and visual are used...a lot of subliminal messages are embeded. This one pulls you to the screen and hits you over the head...dark but, unlike similar spots done by repugnicans, this passes the smell test big time...it goes right to the fears millions are feeling right now. Here's hoping this ad gets a LOT of play today...turn the election back to issues and tying Gramps to boooosh.

9. We need anti-Palin ads dammit!
She is the one who is helping McCain. Obama cannot keep playing nice. That's how Kerry lost. Stay progressive and sharpen the knives.

Don't go after her personally, but go after her ideas. When Senior Citizens now say they support McCain something is wrong.

12. That was a fantastic ad
It made me cry a bit because they just threw McCain's words back at him and I hope it comes back to haunt him. I think this is the ad that changes everything. McCain is being slammed on his comment and he is unraveling.

I think this, along with a McCain's spokesman's LTTE about the economy being well off last Sunday, will definitely be a campaign ender for McCain.

I remember in history class we analysed all the campaigns throughout the 20th century. The latter part of the 20th century seemed to focus around advertisements and often the winner of each election had an ad that RESONATED with the public. (LBJ's Daisy Ad, and etc)

This is one of them. And that's why I got emotional, because now I know we've got this thing won for sure. (That is if the Repugs don't steal it)
