20 minutes to the opening bidding on Wall Street, any speculations
...on where the Dow will go and how it will end the day of trading? I've heard some say that another 600 points will be lost today and perhaps much much more. Here is a summary of yesterdays ending Dow:

3. I don't know,
I think it will initially come out and fall off a cliff, down a couple of hundred. There's plenty of bad news out there, MS earnings, AIG collapse, etc. However I don't think that the PPT is going to allow another day of destruction like we saw yesterday. We might see a 150 pt uptick by the end of the day.

But the key isn't the daily variation, it is the long term direction the market is taking, and that's been nothing but down for the last year.
