Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 12:28 PM by skypuddle
32.

That is what fighting to the point of exhaustion everyday just to eat and stay alive will do to you.

Thank you, Republican Party. Once again, you've fucked us all.

10. Wow, a year younger than me.
Sometimes I think I have it rough. My life is a cakewalk compared to what some go through at the hands of the master class.

11. update on pic: someone tracked her down just a few ago and she
is living in a nice little house and comfortable. She is a wonderful woman, this one and took care of her kids and made her way with a lot of grit. Nice end to the story, no?

Unfortunately, I doubt the majority in her situation have similar endings.

15. I asked my grandmother once 'would you do it all over again?'
Without Pause she answered No. She raised her kids through the Depression, picked cotton while dragging a newborn on her cotton sack, and had one of her babies alone in a tent with just a butcher knife and two shoe strings. and on and on.
