Say what you will about CNBC...
But the other networks could use some reporters like the ones they have...

These folks are all up in the faces of the people who are interviewed on the network, are always prepared and never seem at a loss for words.

They have an agenda, of course, but aren't afraid to dig and dig deep if they have a story. That agenda by the way, is to help the investors make the right decisions when it comes to purchasing and selling stocks.

The other networks, who seem to have an agenda of maintaining access to political talking heads at all cost, don't seem to have the best interests of their audience in mind.

1. They also seem to be scooping everybody...even the WSJ...with the financial news.

3. The only bad part about CNBC is that they hold Larry Kudlow in
such High Esteem.

We should d coffee after the campaign is over. It's taking up a lot of my time.

2. CNBC Does a Pretty Good Job
They are also no friend of financial chicanery, which hurts investors and destroys confidence in the market.

4. Which is exactly why the talking heads over at MSNBC, CNN, ABC
CBS and NBC should look at who they are serving first, the viewer, instead of who is advertising on their network.

5. bloomberg isnt bad either
Obama was on live around 10p.m. last night, while McCain was still reading his crib notes.

Generally, someone smart said almost 10 years ago that 80% of news journalism is trash, and the only saving grace of Financial News Reporting is because they are more prone to be honest and data driven since people's money is at stake, as opposed to other news where people's "attention" is basically at stake...

6. perfect..
I always have CNBC on...

They drive me crazy with Kudlow and Bill Seamen, but the rest of the gang their are pretty sauve.

I think it's because most of them are from Wall Street and have enough money to not care so much what they say.

7. On Wisconsin Public Radio this morning the guest claimed that CNBC favored Obama.
The guest was Peter Morici, Professor of Economics and International Business, University of Maryland. Former Director of Economics, U.S. International Trade Commission. His claim is that because CNBC was tough on McCain in an interview with him that meant they favored Obama. He said in the CNBC interview that McCain himself claimed that CNBC favored Obama.

Morici was on the program to talk about the financial situation on Wall Street yesterday and the big drop. His claim is that the media is pushing a "the sky is falling" attitude because they favor Obama. Right, the media sure does bend over backwards to help Obama. :sarcasm:
