CNBC: Private sector deal to rescue AIG is definitely dead
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 10:30 AM by thewiseguy
There is a meeting now underway and according to the sources there are now discussions about whether the government money will be used to rescue AIG.

Did not Paulson say yesterday that there would be no more bailouts?

2. They released their earning report and their stocks are trading lower today.
Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan will not be able to help AIG. The only one who can save them is the Feds.
