I really can't see Obama making an entire speech full of slogans. If you want one, though, take your pick. This was a substantive, timely, and important speech.

Not everyone is going to listen to (or understand) policy speeches. People on this site are far more informed and interested than the blue collar voters Obama needs to shore up.

5. Something I noticed during the speech.....

was how presidential Obama looked--suit, flags behind him, not vapid faces like McCain's earlier speech, his tone and attitude. That man looks like he knows what to do, and his speech confirms it. Wow.

I hate when people want him to "dumb it down." Not necessary, he is a teacher, he knows how to teach it and get it across. Trust me, if I understood it, well ya know.
