Are all women's issues now being summed up in one word?

http://www.newsweek.com/id/158843

Looking at this issue, one might assume that women want "lipstick" or some of the more trivial things.

Maybe it's just me. The tube of lipstick is what draws the eye. I can't see that as a serious symbol.

I'm puzzled and pissed.

4. I can't speak for all women, but what I want is for Sarah Palin to stay up in Alaska
where she can't destroy the whole country.

7. Why don't we build her a little look-out tower
on that island and she can just spend all her time watching Russia.

8. If that cover gives you the message that women only want lipstick, then you're looking for problems.
I don't see that at all. I don't even see how you can see it. The lipstick writing was the medium, not the message.

10. I'm with you. It's degrading to women.
And women who think that's what their own gender is about degrade themselves, just as men who embrace the silly "macho" paradigm do.
