GM unveils Volt on company's 100th anniversary By TOM KRISHER, AP Auto Writer

DETROIT - General Motors Corp. Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner unveiled the automaker's long-awaited electric car Tuesday and said the turmoil in U.S. financial markets should not affect government loan guarantees that would help the auto industry develop high-tech vehicles.

And they seized and destroyed it themselves.

4. Changed the design..now it's ho-hum..Toyota & Honda are better choices

since they have worked the bugs out of their hybrids.. GM should have just started re-making the electric cars they killed years ago,...
