1. I like "Change worth fighting for" myself
But nobody asked me for my opinion.

Of those two I like the first one, as it was the original.

5. Everyone knows we need change, even McCain is running on that.
But can we believe in McCain's Change? I don't like the Change at all. It should still be "Change we can believe in" IMO.

4. I agree with posted #1 Change worth fighting for.
But, to answer your question, maybe because "believe" is too wishy-washy a verb. And maybe because "need" has the same feel as "necessity" like clean air and clean water, etc.

7. Drop "change" already. Let's do new framing with "healing",
"recovery" "road to getting America back"

"repair" "rebound" yada yada

change is definite, just too broad
