Mueller lies his ever loving ass off before Congress today re anthrax.
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 05:19 PM by sfexpat2000
He was trying to snow the House Judiciary Committee on the nature of the mailed anthrax -- in specific, on how all that silica got into the anthrax that the FBI can't account for.

"That (finding regarding the silica content of the anthrax) was vetted by scientists around the country."

Well, NO, Mr. Mueller. It has NOT been vetted. There are NO experts unconnected with your "investigation" that have come out in approval of FBI "science".

The FBI says the silica was naturally occurring inside the spores AND they haven't been able to duplicate the anthrax sent in the mailings.

In other words, they haven't been able to process anthrax the way they claim Bruce Ivins did. If, as they claim, the high silica content in the mailed anthrax is a natural result and not a result of processing, why couldn't they duplicate the process?

How does THAT work?

And, they've made no mention of the studies that show that ADDITIVES can penetrate the spores and locate themselves inside. So, someone could process anthrax AND there would be high levels of silica INSIDE OF THE SPORES and, it would NOT be naturally occurring.

What total bullshit. Even a science adverse person like me can see the smoke blowing.

Today, Mueller blew Conyers off. He said, I'll get back to you.

The FBI has two main arguments. Their "science" about the anthrax, which seems to be bullshit, and that Bruce Ivins had mental health issues. Well, no one is vetting their science and Bruce Ivins had a 35 year career which was very successful and during which he managed his stuff just fine -- until the FBI started stalking him.

Do you feel safer now?

:grr:

5. Mueller is a longtime Bush family fixer. DUer blm can attest to that.
I'm still listening to the hearing. I didn't get my hopes up but just the TOTAL BS that Mueller is spouting without a blush is enfuriating.

We do not know who mailed those letters. And it sure as hell wasn't Bruce Ivins. They have nada on him.

(Okay, it may have been Cheney.)

16. Well when you consider that Mueller was appointed on Sept 4 2001, one week
before they attacked, you know there's some serious fixin goin on.

6. They drove Bruce Ivins to his death.
Edited on Tue Sep-16-08 05:12 PM by sfexpat2000
I can't sit with that.

How does getting an innocent person dead keep us safe?

This is the case that exemplifies the kind of government we have now.

ETA: And even, if beyond all reason, they could prove Ivins did this, what does it tell us about our government that they're willing to drive someone to suicide because they have no fucking case and can't arrest him?

9. This is exactly their MO to rid themselves of suspicion. How many decades have we seen this?
Remember the 'lone wolf' bank manager who they claimed sent 5 billion of our tax dollars to Saddam? His Iraqgate trial calls Kissinger to the stand and all of a sudden Clinton's DOJ pushed for a plea deal, and that 35yo bank manager agreed to be guilty for just a few years.....trial over....and a few years later it was reported that he died in prison of 'natural causes' of course.

8. WHENEVER Mueller is involved, he's playing clean up for BFEE. He's a LONGTIME fixer for Bushes
and was the US attorney who just happened to NOT find any crime to pursue out of all those BCCI findings. Imagine that....an illegal operation that has characters involved name Bush, Stephens, Bin Ladens, Marc Rich, James Bath, Khashoggi, AQ Khan, et al, and Robert Mueller couldn't 'find' any crime.

10. I know this is hard for people to take in but this is what FBI is saying:
1. Only Bruce Ivins had this anthrax.

It's baloney. The whole "sole custodian" of the Magic Flask is baloney. He didn't control the stock at all. It was stored in two different places and up to 300 people had access to it.

2. We know it was his anthrax but, we can't figure out how all this silica got into it.

Well, then, they haven't proved the anthrax that was mailed came from Ft.Detrick, let alone, from Bruce Ivins, have they?

This is just another Bush scam.

13. I sense someone or some group is getting close
to exposing the truth about anthrax/Cheney. They, who ever they are have had to work in codes, swap info in alleys. I think I know what a new DUer is thinking. But after almost eight f'ing years you get a sense of how they operate. I mean, come on they don't even try to hide their true agenda. NWO. I can't wait for the day I see clearly. The GD'd fog of all the s%^t I can't wait till it dissipates. :* (Ranting helps. Head Hurts anyways):o

14. A congressional "investigation" will not solve this.
We know that much already, especially after the way Mueller treated Conyers today. It was awful.
