1. Veto proof majority in the House? Veto proof majority nowhere. |
Bush vetoes anything Democratic that he does not like. It's his way or the highway.

four of those were overridden...two others were on stem cell research...twice vetoed CHIP...not exactly much to be worried about in the veto dept...

3. Before 2006 all the GOP could scream was that the Dems kept |
them from getting anything done because of the holds and threats of filibusters. How many times has Mitch McConnell stopped legislation - doing exactly what they accused the Dems of doing?
They are such big hypocrites that it astounds any rational thinking humans. There aren't many GOPs astounded about anything except their Lust Love for Dim Bulb Palin. Lots of whiners, liars, cheats, crooks, but no one rational enough to be astounded at their nonsense.

4. Some arguments for sending more dems to House and Senate . . . |
1) Would help Congress to get things done, as opposed to being in gridlock caused by 'Licans trying to achieve their wrongheaded aims even though they don't have majority anymore 2) Get rid of even more Bush-enablers and right-wing nutjobs 3) Insert spines in Blue-dog Democrats, bringing them a bit closer to core dem beliefs
