Anyone else hearing beeps during the Rachel Maddow show?

Or should I put down my beer? Been hearing it not just tonight either. Kind of like a beeper or a phone with a waiting message. I've paused my tv and listened to see if it's in the house, but no.

I've been going all over my house trying to find the source. I have two dehumidifiers and two fans on (flooding last night) so I didn't get that it was coming from the tv. Thank you for bringing this up and saving my sanity!

I haven't watched tonights, but I heard it several times last night. I finally traced it to my Tivo of the show. I thought it was in my electronics...now I am thinking maybe not.

Definitely a different feel when listening to that show. It doesn't seem to bother her, and yet I'm aware of it, so I chalk it up to kind of a hip, "unfiltered thing".

The noises in that studio are pronounced, but the damn, unfocused lapel mics don't help. Her voice is back, the room tone is too high and the beeps are sure to be well known to everyone there. She should be boom miked with a shotgun, or go to a desk mic. Her voice should be much more forward, which would move the room tone back without having to resort to a bunch of noise control.

I am an MSNBC junkie and hear newsroom phones constantly. I've even reached for my phone mistakenly while watching.
