Most books and magazines we buy have two prices. One is the US price and one is the Canadian price. There used to be quite difference in them. At one point, the difference nearly 100% (the Canadian price being twice the US price).

I just got my first Mac and bought three titles at Borders on Sunday. All three were very recently published and all three are just a month or so old.

And the US and Canadian prices are identical.

Which says little about the Canadian economy.

And a lot about the US economy.
