Tell BIG audacious lies.
Lots of them.
So many, of such a size, that no one can refute them fast enough to get them all.
BIG HONKIN' lies.
MASSIVE lies.
Lies that take a lot of effort to debunk.
And in today's world, with the sorry state of the media, you will get away with most of it.
It really is that easy.
Sad, huh?

1. Let's not mix up our terms |

Audacity is one thing. I think it's fair to say Obama was audacious. After all, a first term senator seeking the presidency? That's pretty audacious, bold, etc. It helps when you've got editor of the Harvard Law REview behind you, along with teaching constitutional law, state senate experience in one of the largest states, etc. That's audacity.
What the Republicans are doing is lying. Big lies. Giant, humongous lies.
