Want to know why McCain is bad for the economy? |
|
Carly Fiorina is his top economic advisor.
On January 7, 2004, at a meeting with members of the U.S. Congress, Fiorina said, "There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore. We have to compete for jobs as a nation." Her statements angered Bay Area workers who felt that lower wages overseas encouraged U.S. corporations to use less-qualified, offshore workers, instead of better-qualified American ones. Fiorina responded to this criticism by publishing a clarifying op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal.
Nuff said.
Meanwhile Obama is consulting with Warren Buffett.
What a contrast.

1. There is no God given right to a corporate charter either |
|
States grant corporations the right to exist (to incorporate) because they serve the public good. If they do not contribute to the common good, they have no right to exist.

3. I don't think God would think too highly of her. |
|
Could you imagine her running the country? Every American that was born here or is a naturalized citizen would be unemployed, and H1-B's working for minimum wage and no benefits would fill every job.

5. I'm not a believer but she seems to be..or is at least appealing to those who do |
|
- the right wing believer anyway
and is saying (more or less) it's all god's will so suck it up and move on
and No...I rather not imagine that nightmare...I'm living in one now. One's enough.

Fiorina likes offshoring. Gramm says we're a "nation of whiners", in a "mental recession". Luskin says we're a "nation of exaggerators", urging Dems & media to "quit doling out that bad-economy line." http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/09/12/AR2008091202415.html
