doesn't really work except that Perino is just as vapid. Eva Braun, Hitler's significant other (possibly his beard), spent most of her time living in her fantasy world in Obersalzberg, listening to music, dancing, or watching films. She was never a spokesperson for Hitler, indeed he never even acknowledged the relationship publicly, not even to his closest associates, who believed she belonged to the hired help. Women didn't have much say in Nazi Germany because their role was subordinate to men. Probably the highest ranking woman in Hitler's 3rd Reich was Gertrud Scholtz-Klink, leader of the women's division of the Reich Labour Service (Reichsarbeitsdienst). Joseph Goebbels was the main mouthpiece of the party, although other high ranking officials also spoke publicly such as Himmler, Göring, Hess, and Bormann.

Now, if Dana Perino spent most of her time at the fake ranch in Crawford, scantily clad, dancing or singing in the fields while collecting butterflies, your comparison would work. Truth is, she is just a stupid opportunist who will be looking for a job very soon.
