Poll question: Robbing Peter To Save Paul's Riches
Amazing. We the People now own, let's see:

An insurance company
Two mortgage companies
Some investment banks

Wow. So we've supposedly put off another global financial meltdown by buying 80% of AIG.

Of course, we had to borrow the money from CHINA to do so. But hey - we've managed to stave off the meltdown for at least another week or so.

Bush was only getting $80 billion a month out of us with the wars - but the financial meltdown is making it about $80 billion a week. He's brought the concept of 'robber-baron' to new heights - but we can't impeach him, hell no. We've got to work 'with him' to keep the fat cats fat. And only in doing so can we avert these global financial crisis - right? He created them, along with his boot-lickers in Congress. And I'm sure it's all above board and honest, too - aren't you?

So by robbing Peter Citizen, we...what? Ensure Paul keeps his riches?

How does ANY of this benefit the average American?

As owners, will we receive dividends?

As owners, will we have any say in how OUR businesses are being run?

And how about all of those wealthy executives and Board members? Will any of them go to jail? pay a fine? Lose ANYTHING?

If you or I cost the United States half a trillion dollars, WE'D BE IN JAIL. Or dead.

So what do you plan to do with you share of the profits from our new portfolio of businesses?
