Some say GOP stands for God's Own Party
Clipped from another message board:
"I think most everyone knows which party is the true Christian party in this country. That is why McCain is going to win in November. As a Republican I am proud that we have claimed the moral high-ground and that we are made up of people like Gov. Palin and John McCain and not people like Obama and Biden. These is no way that Jesus would have joined the Democratic Party, but I think that if He were on earth today, He would probably really approve of the way that the Republicans promote His issues."

What church did this person grow up in? Does she have a special Bible?

8. Why would any self-respecting deity get involved in something as dirty as politics?
I would think it would have better things to do than fret about the antics of notorious egomaniacs and liars.

Like trying to manage His finances without the aid of another group of notorious egomaniacs and liars.

24. I agree
That's why I wonder what Bible some Christians must be reading.

"I was hungry. I was thirsty. I was naked. I was a stranger. I was sick. I was in prison. You didn't come to me. You didn't feed me. You didn't clothe me." And the people said, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and thirsty and naked and a stranger and sick and in prison?" He says, "As you've done to the least of these, you've done to me." That's Matthew 25
