Get in touch with your committee people - they may need drivers & poll watchers |
|
Some here may already know this, but here's a heads up since time is getting short.
Get in touch with the committee person(s) for your ward/precinct because they may need a poll watcher, someone to keep track of which registered Democrats in that precinct haven't shown up to vote. Before the polls close they try to contact them, remind them, urge them to get in and vote, offer to pick them up and take them back home afterward. You can also just be available to help the poll watcher with the driving part.
If you're not sure who your committee people are, google your township or County name with the word Democrats and there should be a website with listings and phone numbers.

Not a sexy thread title, but very important! Don't assume they've got it covered!

3. I'm In The Process Of Seeing If I Can Get Someone To Watch My Kids From 545 AM to 8 PM. |

That's the timeframe required in order to be a pollworker in my town. I'm gonna try and make it happen.
