September 17 - Birthday of the Constitution, Citizenship Day. A great time to... |
|
Recheck your voter registration.
The fascists will say and do ANYTHING to stop a democratically elected administration from taking office.
Don't let them destroy the Constituion.

To think, the next president of the United States will only be a month and half older than me. Who woulda thunk it?

3. Well, over the last few years |
|
As we get older, we seem to matter less and less. After all, the Constitution is just "a scrape of paper."

But with this administration, and the frightened sheeple out there who would give away their rights to be "safe," it seems like more and more people don't give a rat's ass about that wonderful document.

4. Happy B-Day (my son is 8 today, too) |
|
I found a handout with the preamble to the constitution in his backpack last night; each phrase was "translated" into simpler language, so the 2nd graders could better understand it. How cool is that?!?

6. Thank you. My boy is 8 also |
|
And that sounds like a great idea from your boy's teacher. Outstanding. I need to talk to my boy about things like this.
Isn't 8 a great age? I'm having more fun with my son than I have ever had. We're hanging out more, and we're really able to talk and laugh together. God, I love him. But guess what? My birthday is Constitution Day, and his is July 6th - the same birthday as the Chimp. Poor kid.

9. I also have a 5 year old adopted daughter |
|
We took her in at 5 weeks old. Just like that, we were new parents. I was 41 at the time, and it freaked me out. I thought we were done. But this baby had nowhere else to go. So my kind hearted, liberal wife took her in. And now that baby has our last name and has started kindergarten.
I'll be attending her graduation in a walker, lol!!
