How about it....?

Just a mere millions dollars. A drop in the bucket really.

I have something like 10,000 in debt if you count my car loan and my credit card balance.

I don't own a home.

I live paycheck to paycheck. Help me too.

Just one million. I could do a lot....put my daughter through college.

Start a small sailmaking, refurb and rigging shop...

I would probably hire a dozen or so people in a small town along Lake Michigan western shore.

1. Not sure you qualify.
Have you produced billions of dollars in crappy, environmentally-unfriendly products over the last fifty years?

They don't hand them out to anyone, you know.

2. Sail refurb business?
I'm looking at sailboats right now. My husband and I are hoping to retire half-time to a 40-42' sailboat on Lake Erie. His parents live an hour from the lake and need help so we're hoping to find a little house and a big boat.

I figure a 500,000 bailout would get me everything I could ever want in the whole world. Youngest kids college year after next and a really spiffy boat.

3. How tall are you, and how much do you weigh?
Sorry for the personal question, I just need to evaluate whether or not you are too big to be allowed to fail.

That analysis was compiled by the Heritage Foundation....conservative think tank and corroborated by intelligence from a Iraqi defector.

I've made more bad financial decisions than you have, I'm sure. So if anyone gets a bailout, its me! Savvy?

8. i, personally, would NEVER expect any type of handout, let alone a BAILOUT...
of MY financial situation by the Government of the People of the United States of America...

why should I be rewarded for NOT conducting my personal affairs and business in a fashion that would keep me financially secure?

i would, however, like one of those nice parachutes they are handing out....

11. Sheesh, 75,000 would do me just fine
Pay off all the debt, get the house fixed up, I'd be good to go.

I've often thought that there should be a national lottery where the federal government just randomly chooses a household maybe once a week and gives that household $50,000. To spend as it chooses. Because no matter what it's used for, hey, it stimulates the economy, right? And if it wipes out debt, imagine how much that family could then spend on needed consumer goods, college educations, insurance, etc.
