Morgan Sachs of America Brothers Mutual Group
Anyone else concerned about the fact that the US is on it's way to having only one financial institution?

2. not accurate
US has many financial institutions.
Thousands of commercial banks.
Hundreds of mutual fund companies.
dozens of mortgage lenders.

The investment banks are going down, but there still are several of them.

3. it was hyperbole
As these large financial institutions gobble each other up (or fail) eventually they become so big that only they can rescue each other. It's not an environment that fosters competition.
