7. Who's paying for it?
Doesn't matter if it's an OFFICIAL budget line item or not. Every single corporate bailout that ever was comes out of our pockets, not the pockets of the people who screwed up the company to begin with -- they still walk away with all their millions and "let's make the tax cuts permanent".

2. This makes me so angry, especially since the stupid invasion and occupation of Iraq.
I've been so disgusted I can't get any more disgusted, so the news of our buying out a bunch of companies that failed due to greed, stupidity, and deregulation just leaves me at the same level of maximum disgust.

I'll tell you what, though. Nobody better ever say to my face again that we can't afford healthcare.

8. Because we're bailing out the insurance companies
that have made healthcare unaffordable. I emailed my congressman to complain about me - uninsured - sending my tax dollars to bail out a company that wouldn't cover me.

9. Because righties have convinced a lot of people
that health care is "socialism".

It's really all about the gigantic profits generated by our current non-system - for profit health care, multi-millionare doctors, multi-billion helth insurance companies, and people trapped working in hated jobs because they really need to have that insurance.

Yet our elected officials ALL have lifetime healthcare and it's not socialism for them....
