An Enormous Crime was published in 2007 and continues to be relevant. Apparently this book has not had much coverage, but maybe it's time that it did. I just heard LeBoutillier on "If It Rocks' 101.1 Radio (out of Charlotte, NC, I believe) and he said things that I have NEVER heard about John McCain. He is a Republican but refuses to vote for McCain for President, and spent a great deal of time talking about how dishonest McCain is - including his caving and singing like a songbird while captured. His biggest problems w/McCain are (1) that he came home and totally LIED about his POW experience--and even embellished it; (2) lied about and left behind POWs--and even threw them under the bus, saying that all the POWs had come come; and (3) HYPOCRISY.

'The live-POW issue needs to go back on the front pages of American newspapers, lead the evening news and return to the consciousness of every American citizen, LeBoutillier believes.'

"It's not fair to abandon them," he said, "and it's not the American way."

1. I Dunno
It seems like this could backfire bigtime. Even if Obama condemns this kind of thing, he will still be blamed.

You will never convince any sizeable portion of the population the truth of this, even if it is true. And if there is one typo in it, the whole thing will be discredited as an attempt by Democrats to smear a war hero for political purposes.

Please don't use logic on me. We're talking about Republicans here. And please don't tell me how the Swift Boat lies helped torpedo John Kerry's campaign. It is perfectly okay for Republicans to mock a Democratic Presidential candidate's service by wearing band-aids with purple hearts. However, if a Democrat dares to inquire (much less question the testimony of the Republican) how having been a POW qualifies one to be President, well, it is just more liberals not respecting a man's sacrifice and service to country.

I'm telling it the way I believe it is, not as I wish it were
