Defenders of Wildlife
Help Ensure a Lasting Future for Wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the Northern Rockies

In March 2008, the Bush/Cheney Administration eliminated Endangered Species Act protections for wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the Northern Rockies. For months, wolves were slaughtered… until Defenders of Wildlife and our conservation allies prevailed in court and restored federal protections for these magnificent animals.
Now the federal government is rescinding its plan to remove wolves from the list of federally protected species and going back to the drawing board for a new plan to manage wolves in the Northern Rockies.

Fill out the form below to urge Dale Hall, head of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, to adopt a responsible management plan for wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the Northern Rockies and help ensure a lasting future for these amazing animals.

4. They Have Another Version That Ties Aerial Wolf Gunning to Sarah Palin
Entirely justified, since she actively promotes it.

This one has been running as an ad, and has apparently been quite effective.

6. Sarah Palin
If you're going to donate to DoWm do it in her name! Same for donations to Planned Parenthood (these ideas came from another DU thread, so I am not taking credit for the ideas, just passing them along). It would appear that the Sarah Palin aerial wolf slaughter ad is having a very positive effect. Remember, republicans love animals, too! DoW needs more money in order to get the ad out to the toss-up states. Please help if you can.
