UK Armed Forces 'Are In Crisis'
Wednesday September 17, 2008

Britain's armed forces could be hit by a swathe of resignations unless they are given a multi-billion pound boost in spending, according to former servicemen.

The UK National Defence Association says the armed forces are in crisis and need millions to prepare them for any future military threat from Iran or Russia.

Hey guys... thanks for helping us out and everything. Sorry it didn't turn out the way we wanted.

Now, about that defend England against a resurgent Russia... well, we are kinda in a mess over here right now... what with the entire financial markets in a meltdown and all... so, I guess what we are saying is YOYO (you're on your own).

Tell Tony to meet us in Paraguay in 4 months.

Cheerio and all that.
