10's of thousands of households in Ohio have been without power since the remnants of Ike blew through last Sunday. Houses not a block from my house have been without power, many schools out all week.
We had 70 & 80 mph wind gust on Sunday evening blew down many trees taking out power lines.

My husband and I were driving across Ohio from Southwestern corner to Northeaster corner to get home Sunday. It was unbelievable the amount of damage and power outages we saw! Luckily our house was only out for about 10 hours.

well gustav hit northern illinois hard but did`t do as much damage as ike did during his march across the north...
